Default 2006 Chevy Cobalt

Most of you read my thread about test driving a couple of cars. Well I was searching Carmax and found a great deal on an 06 Chevy Cobalt. Its listed as just an SS, but I'm pretty sure its the SS/SC. It has the boost gauge and all. The price is pretty damn good I think and the miles are still pretty low. I cant copy and paste the car from Carmax for some f*cking reason, so here it is on autotrader.

Cobalt

And the KBB retail value is showing like $19,600. So this is pretty much a steal, especially from Carmax.

Yea thats the ss/sc...Its a good price, but more than likely you wont be happy with the trade in offer...worth a try though.

I know the Dealerships around here were trying to bend me over backwards, so I figured I would give Carmax a shot. If I cant get this than I'll probably just keep the 01 GT, get some 4.10's, a 3500 stall and then start working on the suspension and performance mods. Might aswell do something with it if I'm gonna keep it.

How much are you looking to get for the GT?

The clean trade in value is like $8400, which I know I'll never get, so I'm looking for atleast $7000. I found 8 01 GT's with mileage between 40k and 100k in my area and the cheapest one was $9500 and the most expensive one was $14,900. So I really dont think $7000 should be that hard to come by.

Looks like it has the G85 option too. Beware of the clutch like IWHINE said.

Yeah if I pay to transfer it from Memphis to here than I can test drive it, otherwise I cant.

What is the G85 option?

I'm not exactly sure of what all the G85 optioned vehicles have. But, I think the Recaro seats and LSD are two of the options that the G85 package includes.
