I took off quickly from a red light today. It was such a nice day, and I haven't really pushed my car hard for awhile. I hit 60, and just let off, and was coasting back down to the speed limit.

I looked up in the mirror at the long line of traffic that I left, and saw an S2000 whip out from the line of cars, I was back down to 45, and bus lengths ahead of the rest of traffic, and the S2000 sails past me very fast.. he was probably doing 80-100. I thought about flooring it when I saw him coming.. but I thought.. "whatever".

Of course, the next light-- we're side by side. He didn't look at me, but I knew I was going to nail it on green. On green, I instantly get a jump as I hear him screech his tires.. I'm out in front by maybe 2 cars, he couldn't gain on me, and I couldn't pull away more than that. At the next light he took a right turn, but he did give me a "hang loose" sign.

I felt pretty good the rest of the day.

What does your car run off the spray andwhat size shot do you have?

 

With just the 50-shot, 13.7 @103. In a few weeks, when the local 1/8th opens up, I'm going to try the 75-shot. I've heard of people using the 100 on this engine without problems.. but I'm not that greedy just yet.

I hear ya about the spray, no need in taking any chances for a couple of tenths.

Are you spraying from a dig?

 

I sprayed a 125 shot and hit mid 12's no problems (I had a few more mods than you)
