In stock form the LS1 is good for a low 13 (if it has the 3.23 rear gear). However most will run a mid 13. The smooth bellows does nothing for HP, but if he has an air lid (usually the first mod on a LS1) he has an easy 300 rwhp car. Is this race from a dig? If so it will be won/lost in the first 60 feet. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I'd say you've got him, by a little. Your stock time is about on par with an averagestockauto LS1.
Ya i'm hoping I can do low 13's with the new rims i'm getting and the mod I have now. Anyway, wtf is a "smooth belows". Sounds like a drink youd find in a gay bar.
how the hell are the rims gonna bring your et down? [&:]

Probably in the OP's favor...by a couple cars at the most is my guess, assuming everyone drives good.

you should win. stay calm and drive it to the limit.
Top end though the LS1 may come around you so if you stop at 110 or so you could still be in front but anything after that I really see him edging you out.
i think the 98 ranthe lt1 engine, not the ls1

a drivers race . if the ls1 is stock and op with his mods= close. if both stock then ls1 by a couple up to 100.

Nope, 98 was the first year for the LS1 in the f-body.
