Default Idle problems

Alright here we go. I dont know much about cars by any means, but i know when there is somthing wrong with it. I have a rsx type s with a aftermarket turbo. I bought the car with it already on it. Problem #1 the idle is all over the place and there is no specific time that it does it. I can drive it all day long and have no problems out of it but then the next day it will run very rough idle and then magically disappear. Also every once and a great while when i come to a stop in town the car will idle so rough and fluctuate so bad it dies and of course i have to start it back up. Problem #2 also every once in awhile when i go to get on it it stumbles over itself or putters and im not sure if that is boost leak but i didnt think so bc it doesnt happen all the time. If anyone has any insight on this it would be much appreciated. thanks

Maybe I'm just posting this because I'm not too familiar with turbos and RSX-S problems, but why would you post this question on a Mustang forum? They do have Honda, Acura and RSX forums just for this reason that you posted.

I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on it. I know all cars arent exactly the same but they all work in the same manner. It was just a shot in the dark. I guess.

I'm sure there are some guys on here that can help you. We do have quite a few guys on here with turbos that might me more open to answer your question. Good luck with solving the problem.

Thanks. Its not that the car doesnt drive well its just that it gets annoying when it starts to act up like that. So if it is a simple fix heck ya but if its going to be expensive ill deal with it. Im going to try to sell it anyway

An RSX-S with a turbo can be one badass ride aslong as its tuned right and has other bolt ons to compliment it. Why are you wanting to get rid of it?

So get rid of the Stratus, keep the RSX, because I know it does pretty good in the snow and then get a RWD musclecar.
