I was out crusing about 30 minutes ago and was getting phucked with pretty hard by this kid in a new ecilpse. This thing had it all, black body kit on a grey car, muffler about 1/4 mile wide, horrible tint job, oh and lets not forget the gansta lean.[&:]We get on this on ramp to the highway and he switches lanes from behind me to the next one over and I hear him gun it, me being a stupid immature kid does the same. Just as he got right next to me I dropped to second and floored it. This kid shot back like 2 lengths almost as soon as my foot hit the floor. He stayed there the whole time until I almost hit 5th. I say almost because like a complete noob I missed 5th and this kid went passed because I just let off after that. We get to the light about a mile down the highway and this kid rolls down the window and laughs. He says "I'm suprised that fossil kept up as long as it did." The whole time I'm thinking "didn't I just have you by about 2 or 3 lenghts?" He asks how it will get off the line, and I just give him the nod. He revs the **** out of the thing hitting the limiter like it was the cool thing to do. The light turns green and I gun it and see nothing but his horrible blue HIDs. I guess he was pretty embarassed because I didn't even get the fly by. This makes me want to get the MGW even sooner so that long *** reach to 5th isn't a problem anymore. My question is I thought those things move with the v6s, don't they have like 260 hp and decent torque? I know he had somewhat of an exhaust and I heard an intake, I guessI expected a little more from the thing. I can't rag on him too bad, since I was the douche who missed 5th and gave him the first race.[:@]

 

Meh, they're low-mid 14's. They're also ghey, though, Way to put that douche in his place.....

Most kids with ricers like that usually don't have much money, I wonder how he can afford a new Eclipse but still have it look like crap. Is it just poor taste? Or maybe just ran out of money buyinga girls car and couldn't afford a decent tint and paint

Next week I start with some basic mods needed for some extra power, as well as a few things just to make driving it better. Short throw shifter and full MSD ignition are first on the list, then in a month or two start rounding up the rest of my top end swap. Even if I miss 5th he'll be so far behind it won't matter.[8D]

 

New 4Gs have gone 14.1 @ 101mph bone stock so far.... not bad considering...
