Last Friday at our 1/8 track, all the stang guys showed up @ 8:30 pm. I had raced a few of assorted GT's, Mach, and 1 older Cobra. Abusing them all until one of 2 04 Cobras wanted a grudge match. OK, what the hell, why not. I knew I was gonna lose. He was pullied w/ some bolt ons and had a Zex 100 shot. This guy was sick fast. he ran a 7.0 and forgot to open his bottle. I ran a mere 7.3. Then he raced a 2nd time vs. his buddy in the other Cobra. He ran a 6.8 and was spinning down the whole track. Damn that thing was FAST.

I want one NOW!!!

 

lol i hear ya...im debateing on trying to find a used 04 mach1 and upgradeing from the gt already..i got to drive my friends and its way diffrent then mine...id probly kill myself in a cobra...but as worff on start trek says...it wouldbe a good day to die LOL

 

i tried calling up some dealerships about gettin a used 03/04 cobra. they want crazy prices for them still. one place actually had the nerve to quote me 36k for an 03 cobra (coupe) with 20,000 miles on it saying that was a really good price. [:@]

 

The cobras have actually gone up in price since about 6months ago. A friend of mine got one for 26k and now you can't find themm for cheaper than 28k or so. It is rediculous.

 

i havent even seen a new cobra in a month. nust be all the rain up here. cant wait to see some at the track.

Verts have gone up cause they are in season. Cobras have gone up because new ones are harder to come by. The period of incentives etc to clear the lots of extra 04 cobras is gone (since they've mostly been sold) making more demand for used ones.

 

I got "supposably" the last new one in the northwest on valentine's day for 31K.
