Does Kenne Bell have blower set-up for the Goat? I know about the Maggies, Prochargers, etc, I just haven't heard anything about a KB Goat.

I'd go with the GTO just because of the huge power advantage it should have. The Cobra guys dont seam to struggle with their launchs as much as the GTO guys do from my experience.

from a dig the termie. from a roll the gto. if it had a kb. no contest.
to the two noobs that came in this thread... ^^^ you are one of them

it's just as hard to launch a terminator as it is to launch a GTO... same IRS/wheelhop issues
was unaware the Termi's had that, but from what i've heard(and seen on my friend's goat) the GTOs are possibly the worst car to try and launch and master. without serious suspension work.

^^ at least you get terminators at your dragstrip, they are never around here when I go out [>:]

the GTO's can be launched, it just takes practice. same with any other car... same can be said for the termie

it took a few tries before I found the sweet spot and the right amount of pedaling...

^^ that was my best launch with the automatic, it was about 5 seconds to 60MPH... and with practice the same thing can be done with a clutch, if not better... now I need to do it with traction control off [8D]

GTOs have it tough on the street (just like any decently powered car), but alot of people would be surprised at the 60's they pull off at the track with street tires. All it takes is a little self control with the throttle, and a GTO will do a 2.1 60' all day long. I've done it, and so have lot of other people, and I mean they've done over and over. On the flip side, you'll get plenty of drivers trying to floor it from a dig and wonder why it won't hook. My Mach and the GTO I had pull indentical 60 footers. The 2.0 60' in my sig rarely happens, unfortunately.

all I'm saying is you are comparing people that can't launch to people who can... I've seen somecobra's bog on the launch, I've also seen some bite... I've seen GTO's bog on the launch, I've also seen some bite

with my A4 I bet you 9 times out of 10 I could outlaunch a car with a clutch... but that 1 time out of 10 it's going to be up against a person who really knows how the hammer the gears, and I bet those kind of people can launch a GTO and a terminator both equally

I hope you understand where I'm getting at, there will always be crappy drivers and good drivers, taking the crappy drivers and setting a standard shouldn'treally be done given any car

the terminator is faster by a substantial margin given both drivers banging the gears to the fullest, about 3-5 tenths if I'm not mistaken, I'm just saying that given equal driver when they both leave the line they are going to leave together

I'm almost 100% positive that you can, because they make LS1/2/3/6/7 kits but they aren't vehicle specific... so in other words you would probably have to buy the kit and custom fab a hood
