The weather was beautiful this weekend, so, I drove the beauty queen to both days of a martial arts seminar. On Sun. coming home I had one of those 25mph ramps that go from one highway to another and seeing that there was no traffic I decided to have a little fun. As I was approaching the ramp I look behind me to see a new Vette coming up at high speed to stick close to my rear......not bad.....just close. I stuck the ramp as hard as possible with a bit of drift at the end and promptly went WOT. The really fun part was the Vette, of course, stuck right with me and when he cleared the ramp he too went WOT and......yep.....not ashamed to admit it.......flew by me. LOL.....it was a ZO-6 out having fun too. He gave me a wave as he disapeered into the distance. What an awesome machine! I truly envy you guys that have them.

 

Hell, I envy you, much less bam/rogers/etc

 

thats the only thing that would suck about having a car like your's...most people think that a car that beautiful would have to be packing some major power under that hood...hell, that Z06 probably expected one hell of a race

dont feel bad though, i had a Z06 do the same thing to me. He actually went WOT thinking it would be a race...well, it wasntbut those vette tail lights sure do look goodsailing past you

 

It's always fun to have a run with a car like the C6Z. They blow my doors off like I'm driving a 86 Ecsort too so do feel to bad.

 

Oh, I didn't feel bad at all. It was sooooo fun to watch. Those cars are awesome. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to give him more of a challenge in the beauty queen. *sigh* Maybe I'll win the lottery or a big jackpot at the casino and turn it into a C-500 [8D]
