I have full bolt ons, vt stage one cams, full suspension, king cobra clutch, odds and ends, some laughing gas that i have yet to use, and nittos DR's for the track.
I don't knowwhat mods he had. Maybe an exhuast.
I also understand that my mustang is a vert. But it doesn't weight to much more than a coupe (200lbs) but it does have subframe connectors that come stock on it.I would have preferred a coupe but i got such a good deal on this car a year and a half ago.It had 12K fully loaded for$14,500 and stock as stock could be.It's an03too

So i am at the track and i am waiting to run. And this guy with these girls was talking **** about my car and how a vert is not the best thing to drag race and i should just take it to the beach and leave the strip. So he comes over and asks me what i have done to it. I said i have expensive gas in it. He says it sounds like you have an exhaust. So i say well that is broken and it rusting apart and that is why it sound like that lol. Then he says well it looks like we are racing each other and that he will take it easy on me. I said thanks. All his little girlies start laughing. My wife was about to kill him. So anyways we pull up to the box and he does his none burn out on street tires and then i set my line lock and just smoked the drag radials for a bit. o yeah the entire time he was reving his engine at me as we were waiting to race and laughing. so i pull up and and get set. light turn green. Let me just say this, the closes he was to ever beating me was when i was waiting for the tree to start. i ran a 12.976 @ 106ish with a 1.8 60ft and a .1ish RT. he ran a 13.8. he didn't say anything went we got back to the line. So that was my highlight of the evening.

I get that **** all the time and they always regret their smart *** remarks when I get to the finish line by the time their crossing the 1/8 mile mark. Good story, good kill.As said above, silence is sometimes more painful then smarting off. You should've hit your hazards on him a little past the 1/8 [8D] That would've really got'em

Pops just bought a 2007 350z for mom and calls me up to talk about it.....Saying how it is a "bullet" and a "rocket". So I get tired of hearing him talk about it and tell him "If you pull up to a White Truck (My Lightning)....You will get your feelings hurt". He rants and raves on how I am wrong so I say let's put money on it. Have not heard from Pops since
