Default blown up sti

dont know if this is appropriat for this section but if it isnt then could some one please move it. anyway, my friend calls me up today and said that he got a new bov for his 07 sti. the car has forged pistons, 20g turbo, turbo back exhaust, fmi, and a tune. the car is a friggen animal and went 11.8 @ 117 with a 1.7 60. turns out that his bov was leaking boost the whole time which is the reason that he got a new one. anyway he put the bov on and took me for a ride. the thing was rediculous. apparently is was leaking a lot more boost then he had thought haha. it was the fastest car i have ever been in from 0-60, the thing just plants you in the seat. so we were driving around looking for someone to run when we see smoke commin from the tail pipe. at first is was light but then it covered the whole street. the car shut off and the hood started to smoke. no idea whats wrong with it but it sure was fast while it lated haha

He should of bought an Evo! (J/K). That sucks. That's why I drive mine like grandma. I'm still on the stock internals with 83,000 miles and she's still running like a champ with 400whp. Hope he figures it out and gets her fixed. I don't think it's going to be cheap though
