He (the Stang) was probably a poser. Or he was toying with you, giving it just enough juice to stay ahead of you. Probably about 1/2 throttle lol.

so i was leaving town and going home last night and i didnt have any intentions to race anything though i was speeding.i was taking the shortest route to the highway and theres a car about to turn right on to the road im on at this point i cant tell what it was. right away he shifts burns up the back tires and quickly gets on my road and pulls up a little ways in front of me.
when it turned onto my street i see its a mustang so i was like ok the stealth is in need of some dinner hes a car ahead of me and im slolwy pulling up on him waiting to get next to him and go well i get close enough to the car only to see the white strips, and the big whte bold letters GT500.....at that moment i was like ..****. we got next to each other and on the third honk we floored it i stay with him for all of 4 seconds and then he pulled ahead we endded the race with the mustang a car and a half lengths on me. we didnt have too much room left to go so we had to call it quts pretty early.
were racing again in 2 weeks hopefully by that time ill have the nitrous kit installed.
so if your in the golden triangle area of texas come on down to beaumont khols meets.
