SRT DESIGN???
The SRT8s are the bitch to launch, agressively that is. They'll break loose pretty easy without the ESP.
Wtf does ESP stand for anyway? Why doesn't Chrysler just call it traction control like everyone else?

ESP= Electronic Stability Program
My Audi has it. It's not just traction control. It's an intricate stability program that makes use of the car's ABS system and applies more or less breaking power to individual wheels to control the car in the event of an understeer/oversteer situation. My A4 is a riot in the snow w/ the ESP turned off.....

Thanks for the info Scg. I've heard of that system, just didn't put it together. It has probably saved quite a few asses to be honest, lol. My TC doesn't do anything but detect anyvariance in speed between the front and rear tires. It helps, but its not nearly as advanced as the ESP.
The TC has corrected me for the better at least once. I was merging using a clover leaf type ramp. It was raining and I grabbed 3rd a little to hard. I was already going over 50 mph and still in the turn. The rear tried to kick out (really caught me off guard). The TC put a nice stop to it, which was a good thing because I would've spun out right into the middle of I-95.

Im not frequent on here, but i found this thread in a google search. The SRT design is a thing dodge did to make the lower model car look like the SRT model. the did it with the neon too. it started in 05. Its kinda like what ford did with the mustang. Offering the package to make the V6 look like the GT.
