how embarrasing! in the pinks episode tonight, not one but two mustangs performed awful. i couldnt even watch. one, a 95 cobra, the other a 5.0 with a bottle. both cars broke, the orginial racer in the cobra just sat at the start line the first to races and watched a toyota cressida with 2jz swap stomp him. its just sad that if either mustang didnt break, they might have won

 

Mustangs break alot on that show. The owners aren't building their cars right. That throw an enormous shot of nitrous on the puppy and run til it explodes.

 

I've noticed that too. A lot of those cars are thrown together by shops in a few weeks with spare parts / motors they have lying around. It's not until Pinks: All Out until you see the track warriors that are well-built and sturdy.

What I don't understand about Pinks, is that they waste ourtime andtheir money with cars that break down in every other show. Seems like the brain of the show would toss those races and only show the races thathave non-pos cars. Gets old watching cars break downafter awhile.

 

Thats part of the "realness" of the show.People break in real life, so they do it on the show, too. I think it would be more entertaining if they actually made sure the shop puts it together right. Pinks all out the guys know how the cars going to perform, the one thing I like about pinks is the people who don't even get to test their cars before the races. They only have an idea of how much power it makes.

lol, when ever i think of ppl breaking down, im always reminded of the honda civic with HUGGGGGGGGE slicks, getting half track head start, and on launch he snaps his u joint off, and the other car FLYS!! lol
