Default Raced a 97 LT1

I'm gonna make this story short and sweet. Me and my buddies go out to this road (Woodward, some people might have heard of it) every friday. One of their friends has what looks like a purple/maroon 97 LT1 Camaro. He has Long tubes, and a full exaust (not sure exactly what) He said he had a "chip", intake, and 3.73 gears. He wanted to race. Not being one to turn down a race, I said ok. You guys can see my mods in my sig. We couldn't catch any lights so we decided to go from a 25 and a 45. I beat him both times. I pulled on him hard from a 25; about2 cars up to about 90. It was about 1 length from the 45.

As i said, short and sweet lol.

I thought it was gonna be alot closer to be honest.

Your tune definately kept you in this race and helped you win it. If you didnt have that tune he probably would have pulled you from 45 and ran even with you from 25. Nice runs man.

Thanks man. Ya I agree if I didn't have a tune I think he woulda took me. That thing was fast. His car was pretty well worked. I might have forgot to mention it was an automatic.

Wow, I thought we were talking manual to manual here... that's impressive from the LT1... Still a great kill on your part.

Isn't 97 when the LS1 came out? I didn't know they were still using LT1 in the maro for that year.

Nah, was not till the '98 F-bodys that they stuck in the bastards.

Sounds like a good race.

45-90 and only a car is not really killing anything.

Good race..

what'd you trap on your 13.5 run at Milan?
