I know a guy with an eclipse GSX (all wheel drive) he a has a few mods like a front mount IC and a boost controller, he runs mid 12's. He's running 14lbs of boost i think.

 

FMIC upgrade makes all the difference in the world. All of the turbo mitsu cars (exluding the EVO and station/conquest) came with wussy ICs and small upper and lower in pipes. They are a joke. That is the main reason the car is as slow as it is. If the talon, eclipse, laser cars came with the 16g and FMIC that the EVO has, it would have been a perfect car. As it was, everyone has to upgrade the exhuast, FMIC, and turbo, but even the stock turbo is decent. It has seen 11s, but with lots of other mods.</P>


I installed a decent size Audi IC on my Talon with some custom IC pipes and a 2G intake elbow. It made a worlds of difference. It is a 40-50HP gain just from that bolt on alone. A good kit starts at a grand though. My current car still has the stocker. I can't wait to upgrade. It is the difference between getting pulled on and pulling ahead. It is a must to have a fast turbo car without rasing the intake temps too much. </P>
