GT500 traction problems.
I'm having some severe wheelspin at the top of first gear a boost hits max and that's taking off from a roll.It seems to be fair on the street until this point.Any advice on getting Eagle F1's to hook.It might be better at the track,Might be worse.Any advice other than new tires would be helpful.
You've got alot of power under the hood man, not sure if those tires would be that great. Are you just easing into the throttle or trying to gun it? Are those F1's the stock tires on the GT500?
trying to putthat much power and torqueto the ground with stock F1'sduring WOT at such low speedsis like trying to deliver a baby with razor wire... it just isn't going to work.
try DR's or less throttle... more weight in the back could help, like sandbags and such, that will give you weight above the rear tires and they should be less prone to slipping when it's warm out.... which is another factor you should pay attention to... make sure it's a summer temperature out, flooring itat 40-60 degrees is just asking for slippage at any speeds in 1st gear

yeah, even with torque management in full effect... if I turn TC off and it's even a little cold out, going into second will send me sideways... I have it down to a science where if it's over 70 degrees I will just bark second and hit it with no problems... anything under that and it's up in the air
I never floor my car during first gear speeds unless I'm going from a stop.... when that automatic finds 1st from a low rollit hits hard and sends the car all over the place
just wait till I get a tune and null down the torque management [&:]

Is there a reason why don't want to put a proper sized tire on the car? By all accounts, the stock tires are way too narrow.

Some LCA/UCA's couldn't hurt either.
