I went out cruising earlier in the sixer. While out, I came across a lot of ricers. You know, stupid asses in hondas and some dudes who thought their suburbans were fast. There were some gto's and other cars out, but nothing special. I came across a 83 monte carlo with a full exhaust, and tried to set up a race. After we both did the floor it for a few seconds then let off thing for a while, he turned off, and i lost him. From the little pulls that we did, it seemed like our cars were pretty equal, maybe i was a tad faster. Then I came across a tiburan gt (spell?). This car was a little bit faster, but I think it would have been fairly close from a dig. Anyways, I followed that guy for a while, and he ended up going to some party. I know it was a pretty lame night, But I wanted to hear who you guys think would win against those cars. Keep in mind that i'm only a 06 v6.

 

Maybe I misread what you typed. Did you say the tiburan was faster????

 

the monte just sounds fast. the tiburan i would think should be behind you not in front. i think you should be 2-0

 

Tiburons are dogs. The max stock horse power is 173(That's the newest gen too. Older ones you're looking at 140HP)

 

I was thinking the same thing about the tiburan, but it seemed to pull pretty good when he got on it. I have no idea if it was modded or not, but it was pretty loud. As for the monte; I know the guy that was driving it. He is always in the shop at school talking about how badass his car is, so it was kinda nice to show him up. I remember one time he said it has 250 to the wheels. [&:]. But next time I see him, I'll ask if he wants to race somewhere. I'm a little curious to see what'll happen.

The other day I went out crusing with some kids from the area. Mycar was the slowest in the pack, but thats not saying much with the group I was with. It was my buddies modded EVO, my buddy that just got his full exhaust and DRs on his firehawk, some young guy about 30 with his bolt on C6, two kids with bolt on WS6s, and a guy with a blown Mach 1. The funny thing is no ricers even tossed a rev in our direction, hell they probably did, but we just couldn't hear them.

 

Nice! I wish we had nice cars like that around where I live. Come to think of it, I have never once seen a modded evo in my area.
