Anyone have any input on how much the following car is worth and what it should do in the 1/4 mile? My friend is selling it, I helped him briefly when he was installing the 347 shortblock. I probably won't buy it but the thought crossed my mind. It looks stock (doesn't sound stock), pretty good shape on the outside. Inside is so-so...

93 Cobra
347 stroker- forged. not sure of the compression ratio
aftermarket heads and cam don't know the specs on them. Ported cobra intake man.
pretty much every bolt on and full exhaust with long tubes, alum driveshaft etc.
3.73 gears
Only accesories on the belt are the power steering and alternator. He has a electric fan and electric water pump, no ac. Battery in trunk.

Really don't know enough about the heads/cams to even make an educated guess. Thats going to be 50% of the equation there. If he didn't match the cam with the head or put a huge dished piston in with big cc heads thats going to make a HUGE difference. Only thing I can tell is it looks like he's running a ported long runner intake.

Does he have to run race gas or is it a pump gas car?
Cam specs?
Aftermarket heads, what kind? Dart? Edelbrock? AFR?

Thanks for replying. I was also wondering what a good ballpark price is.. I realize that it is hard to say without seeing the car.

It uses pump gas. I'm not sure of what brand of heads.. I was there when he was installing them and they were expensive, but I can't remember what he said they were. The cam has a big lope to it when the car is idling. I think he knew what he was doing since he is a mechanic for Ford.

Look up the price of a stock 93 cobra. Your friend will wind up eating 75% of the mod value that he's installed.

What he said. Stock '93 Cobras are bringing in decent money right now but one modded like your friend's is probably worth a fraction of that at best.
