CHARGER SRT8
Cruising to a local Friday nite show, great night, top down, radio up.... I see a red Charger in the rear view. I slow down to let him catch up and see if he wants to play a bit. So I'm doing 30 or so and he pulls alongside but there is traffic ahead. As soon as he has some room he hits it, I cant go as there is a car in front of me[:@][:@]. So now I figure he doesn't want to play.
I catch him up now doing around 35-40 and I drop to second gear, he's about 1/4 car ahead and he hits it and moves to about a 1/2 ahead when I nail it. I quickly close the differnce and shift to third and start to pull ahead. As I get to about 65-70 I'm a full car out and pulling on him and have to shut down due to traffic as he dives behind me and crosses from the left lane to the right lane (3 lane road). He pulls next to me again and shouts "i knew you had a turbo" I look over laugh and say "no turbo here"
"its bone stock" 
guy was all smiles and we parted ways. to his detriment he did have two passengers.
My first SRT8 kill.....thanks for reading!

if we had more room I think I would have really put a hurt on him. the race was over in about 3-4 seconds. I also hit the limiter in 2nd. I have to check where its set as it must be set lower than I thought

I needed a shift light in my old GT. That Vortech just pulled so hard to the limiter and I never could get the feel down. The light solved that problem. I mounted it in the air conditioning vent - nice and stealthy.

Nice kill! Not everyone is a car guy and can tell the difference between a turbo and a blower when they hear it so give him a pass for being a good guy.[8D]Yea if you would have had some road you would have put distance on him easy with your set-up.
