Default what are you running..

what you guys run in the 1/4 with the following mods
cai/tune
aluminum drive shaft
4:10's
lca's
good set of tires
i was thinkning of udp's too but i hear they are not worth it.

these are the mods i would like to get fairly soon, and i was wondering what you guys are running with most or all of these mods.
Once i get these i plan to stop modding but we will see how that works out. so far i just have the cai/tune, and love it. thanks for the response's guys. my goal is to hit high 12's so we will see.

from what I heard if you are planning on staying N/A you should probably go ahead and get UDPs.. look for a used set for sale.. since people who S/C need to get rid of them. CMCVs are the ones where you lose some down low and make some higher up i believe.. but still could be worthwhile if you never want to s/c. Overall your mod list looks good and is what my short term goal is to get.. after i get those same ones (except 3.73s for me) I'm planning on S/C so thats why im skipping udp and cmcv.

Good luck trying to stop modding once you get started.

His current mods are cai/tune, that's his projected future mods list when all is said and done.

Yes, those mods should net you high 12'a if good tires are Drag Radials and your an average driver. Not sure UDP's are needed.

yeah i plan on getting the 4:10's and the driveshaft here when i pcs from england so like 3 months i shoudl have it, yeah when i said good tires i meant drag radials lol.I would definalty say i am just an average driver, and i need alot of practice.I also don't plan on supecharging any time soon but i dont think i would mind full bolt ons.I wanna see what that list i gave will get me first. And as for stopping i am already hooked, whats stopping me from modding now is i am in england, god help me when i get to the states in 2 months. i just hope i can stop modding one day.

I've seen a tenth or two dropped from UDP's alone. CMCVs also help. You could potentially see a 12.6@109-110 on a good track in good weather with those mods.
edit-With those mods, only a 12.8 or so. With a full exhaust and those bolt-ons, I've seen as low as 12.2.

How much does a full exhaust help? I heard that the one we have now flows very well, and that its not worth it to change unless you go super/turbo charged. i dont know your one of the first people to say udp's are worth it, not saying your wrong though either. i guess i will have to reseach those a little more.
