That sucks bro! Don't know what to tell you. I went to the trouble of having a Hurst shifter put in, and the last few times I've gotten on it hard, I can't find 3rd for the life of me! I've driven manuals my whole life, and have never had this issue with any other cars. It really does suck!

sorry about that man it sounds like you should get some more practice and definitely buy a short throw MGW shifter and you won't miss 3rd again. I owned a '02 1.8 T and they are peppy at best you should have won in reverse.....
