Lightweight machine for sure, but still hurting for torque. Wonder what the final gear ratio is? Don't the S2Ks still squeeze out 14.0 1/4 ETs, or is it 14.5, I can't remember...

Nice kill OP,

Nice kill OP,
Final gear ratio is 4.10 stock IIRC. The older one pull mostly low 14's in the 1/4 while the newer AP2's (04+) run high 13's and low 14's.

Wow if they run low 14's, high 13's stock, then that means he was a low 13 second car! I swear my times are off from the track! How the hell do I consistantly beat low & mid 13 second cars, yet I pull a freaking 9.229 1/8th?! I got gyped. I can't wait till my next run in July!

They don't gets tons of gains off of mods. It was probably a mid 13 second car at best. It all depends on the driver too though. It could have been someone that would have taken it a low 14 stock with mods putting him into a high 13.

Good point. Still doesn't make much sense for my times. It's pretty improbable that every performance car I come across that runs mid to low 13's stock, I beat. It's just hard to believe that I only come across crappy drivers.

All that^^^ and plus you're trying to launch as hard as possible at the track, meaning traction gets in the way with a quickness. Roll races and other types of street runs will always yeild some funky results. Either way OP, you took him down.

Yeah you're right. I'm not a roll racer. I only race from a dig, or nothing at all.

Raced one too. Pulled about a car and half on him before I shut it down.

Good Kill Man!
