Nice. I got a chance to check out an orange SRT8 at a local car show last weekend. It was gorgeous.

 

the stated hp is 425...but a few mags have gotten more hp out of the 6.1 in tests...something like 458, i believe? its been a while since i heard about the testing..

 

Nice looking car. I'm holding out until the Camaro comes out to pick an American Muscle car, but they did a great job with the SRT8's.

I need a bigger garage. I wish I could own a Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger.

 

+1. Just hope they can keep up the retro styling when the electric cars come out. Maybe they'll have V8 soundtacks to play along while you're driving in the future.

Sad thing is that there was only 1 generation of the original E-body Mopars, and it looks like there will only be 1 this time around too.

I wonder what the next generation of Mustang/Camaro/Challenger would look like when/if they come out. Do they keep the retro timeline going, do variation of a theme, or go for something completely new?

The 2010 Mustang obviously keeps the same platform, so it's only a front/rear makeover. But do they go for the big Torino look of the 71-73 next? Then a remake of the Mustang II?

I wouldn't mind a new retro 70-81 Trans Am with LSx power ifthey get around to that.

I actually saw an orange one on the road today looked sickk.
At first glance I thought it might have been the 'maro, but either way looked good.
