Default 05GT VS 92 NOTCH??????

equal drivers, who should get the win??

05 GT Drop in K&N, otherwise stock and its an AUTO

92 Notch with heads, e303 cam i believe, intake mani, intake, shorty headers, catback, 3.73's,and a short throw. Also the notch is UNTUNED

As far as the condition of the cars, the 05 has roughly 70k miles and the notch is at about 110k and is VERY well taken care of.

Just wanting to get some opinions...thanks

I'd guess the notch if they can use those 3.73's well off the line....even if they launch like ****, they could still probably catch up with that much power and that much less weight to carry.

What's your mods? Not saying its not true, but my dad's got a vert and with 2.73's it was slow. Hell with 3.73's it's still slow.

THere are two kinds of 5.0's: Slow ones and fast ones. In my opinion you have to have HCI to be in the "fast" category...

Well i wouldn't consider my car slow since i smoked a 06 GT when i had the automatic in it still. I dont have alot done to my car as you can see. I also raced a 07 GT with full bolt ons and he only had me by one car.

Street tires on both cars, went for a ride in the notch and it just doesnt feel that fast. Not saying the 05 will win but it just wasnt what i expected. Hopefully we'll get the race in soon cause the notch has some weld's just waiting for tires to come in, then it wouldnt even be close.
