Hey, im not sure if this belongs in this section since its not actually a race.... but i was just wondering which car runs a faster 1/4 mile time. A 2001 Pontiac trans am(ls1 of course) or a 05/6 GTO. I've looked online for the answer but every site i look on has totally different numbers. Can anyone help and tell me the times for these 2 cars?

 

Check my sig...a 2001 Trans AM M6 should be able to do very similar..

05/06 GTO should be able to do very similar as well...

they are VERY close given equal drivers

 

S8ER01Z beat me to it. Total driver's race. The TA has the weight advantage, the GTO has the HP advantage. Comes right down to the drivers. Both can potentially go 12.9 in the 1/4.
