Noob Questions
Ok these are dumb questions but...
1. Let's say I go to the track. How would I launch an auto? Is there a better way than just going from idle?
2. Now let's say I race from light to light on the street. Would it be better to just go from idle?
3. About how many MPH can I get up to in 3rd gear?
4. My only performance mod so far is my exhaust. I will be getting a CAI and Tune soon. Light to light can I beat an RX-8(stock or lightly modded), S2000, 04 BMW 325i, Charger(the V6), SN95 GT.
5. If I get the X-Charger(maybe the intercooled one when it comes out) will I be able to beat or hang with a Charger R/T? SRT8? S197 GT?

Hold the breaks and rev up to about 2500 rpm or less...
Practice at different launch rpms to see which works best for ur car...
I've got a '99 v6 manual so I really have no clue about an auto s197 3rd gear top...
Mine tops at about 91-92 mph...
Which is convenient cause my 1/4 mile trap is about 91-92 mph...
It'd be better to post this in the v6 section...
You'll get more hits there...
I don't see that many sixxers in this section very often...

Coop pretty much covered it all. Supercharged you could probably hang or beat a charger R/T. Doubt you'd get the s197 and I'd bet money against taking a SRT-8
