buddy just got a ls2 vette. the car is bone stock and him and i are gona go run later on tonight. i know the cars make 400hp and a lil less tq. my car is making 360rwhp and 455rwtq. i figure he weighs less then i got and might have a little more hp but i have a decent amount of tw over him. we plan to go from a 1st gear roll. what do u guys think ill happen. im gona try to get it on video

 

Do you have gears? Can you hook up from a low roll?

 

I'd say if you get traction the tq will help you out, but anything over 100+mph it's lights out for you. So basically don't light the tires up and you could have him up to about 100-110.

 

Even with the mod's, the LS2 will still pull hard. Your really goign to need a Power adder to one up an LS3.

I say the LS2 still has you by a couple of cars up to 100, then you are really toast.

 

Who said anything about an LS3? We get it, you would fu(k one of the quad tips if you got the chance.

 

I think its gonna be pretty close upto 90-100, but after that its over. If up your shot to 125 you will take it upto a 100 at least im thinkin.

 

Should be close with a slight weight advantage going to the Vette.

GT= 3500. Vette=3250
3500-3250=250.
250 pounds equal ruffly 2/10ths advantage!!!
A good drive could make up a couple 10ths no problem.
