Alright guys raced a 3000 gt vr-4 this was a set up race between my ex gf and her current bf so I def wanted to win this one as he has talked nothing but crap about my car. Anyway we meet up at my house and start to drive down route 309 anyway he says he only wants to race from a dig so I was a lil worried as I drive cow of a car. It takes us a good 20 mins to find a light to go at, so while we are waiting he’s all revving his car up and it sounds really nasty. I decide to not rev mine up to kind of keep it more of a secret anyway the light turns green and I get the perfect launch and get about a car right away I hit 60 and slowly just keep pulling I stopped at 110 as by then I was already 4 cars ahead.

Errrmm.. you didn't rev the engine at all but you took an AWD VR4 3000GT out of the hole? Unless the guy driving the mitsu was a complete douche and couldn't drive that'd be kinda difficult.. What was done to the mitsu anyway? Stock? Even the stocker VR4's run something close to 250-260 AWHP I believe, though I could be wrong about that, better or worse.. I could definitely see the LS2 in your goat pulling one up top cause unless the 3000GT was F/I, AWD cars usually fall flat on their face past 90-ish without it because of top end parasitic loss through the drivetrain.. Bickety Bam or WRXtransformedwouldbebetter people to comment on that one though.. Sounds like a very not bad kill.. I'm just curious about the launch..

A properly built TT VR4 will toast much of what's out there with but a few exceptions as long as somebody half-way competant is behind the wheel.. Even stock, they were FAR from "complete junk" there pally.. [8D]

^^^ I'm not callin BS Cacimar, I can see a 435-rwhp LS2 goat whipping up on a stock VR4, even a lightly modded VR4.. I was just curious about how he out-launched an AWD car that's got better traction than he does, MOST LIKELY.. I don't know if radke's got DR's, and if so that's a plus..
I HAVE seen some damned NASTY modded VR4's before though.. things go like stink without a whole hell of a lot of mods done to them.. I'm betting though, if the guy the OP raced was the kind of chode he sounds like in the description, he just didn't know jack-**** about how to launch the car properly methinks..
