had a little fun on the way to the astros game. was cruising on the beltway (no traffic) when a black mercedes comes hauling *** up on me. instead on going around, he stays right there. anyways, irresponsible me, drops it in 4th and nails it....i get up to 140 in 4th and he never did reel me in but i couldnt pull away. as soon as i hit 5th, i was going around 145-150 and he blows past me like i was standing still. *** end says cl55 amg...he slowed down and i got back up to him and he asked if i wanted to again....umm, no...i gave him a thumbs up and we went our ways...

got home and figured out why he sailed past me in the end...

Those AMGs are mean. I had one mess with me on the highway not to long ago. I couldn't tell it was an AMG until he sailed past doing well over 140 because I was at about 130 and he flew past like i was stopped. Honorable death.

 

what's funny is he was probably bouncing off his speed limiter, they're limited at 155mph

LOL!! seen many E55'S RUN LOW 12'S HIGH 11'S IN ALMOST STOCK TRIM.......some of the new mercedes really get with it and quick

 

you should check out the new cl's they are carbon fiber with an even bigger engine capable of 199 mph

those cars are limited TWICE, one at 155, the second at 186.

top end without limiters: north of 200mph

be lucky it wasn't a CL65 AMG, those monsters pull past 210mph STOCK (with limiters removed of course)
