last night i was driving around aimlessly with a buddy of mine and a red srt-4 pulled up next to me and let me know he wanted to run. well, i heard a BOV and knew i probably had no chance, but i've never been able to find one of these to run with so i bit and we decided to go from a stop. he honked and i pulled on him for a second or two, but then flew by me and pulled about1 and 1/2 lengths on me before we shut it down at about 95. after the race we talked and he told me he had all the stage 1 upgrades. just makes me want to mod so next time the result is a little different![8D]

 

If he put 2 lenths on you from a dig up to 95 with you getting the jump.I'd bet head had a little more than stage one.(10HP)

 

When i had mystock 02 GT(5spd) i ran a stock skittle a few times from a dig and a few rolls and the outcome was always the same. I would get about a car up on him from a dig but as soon as we hit 2nd he would slowly walk past me, ending up about 1 1/2 ahead at around 100mph. From a roll (15-20mph) he would spin a little but would just start pulling ahead, about 2 cars at 100mph. So for you to be stock and loose by 2 lengths and have a passenger isnt that bad.

I've only ran two Srt-4's and beat them both. That was with my old 01 GT.

 

Sounds familiar...i raced this one SRT4 2 times from a rollfrom70 mphto 100. I felt like I could hold, but once I would run out of 3rd gear, he pulled on me.

 

ive always wanted to run a neon.

The local ones here run terrible at the track (and im not there) and i never see them on the street.

good death blake....lost to the same guy a while back. i was umping for his bar league softball game and afterwards he wanted to run. good guy for sure. fast car? yup!
