Ford needs to do something to up the HP of the mustang cuz a 3.6 V6 and 296hp for a sixer is just well you know ..................

The current GT will still smoke the new v6 camaro, seeing how its close to 4k lbs, but they will be close in price. The SS will be thousands more like usual, so it will be more of a gt500 competitor.

The SS and gt500 weigh in almost identically...I wonder how the GM fanboys who have bashed the cobras weight for the last couple years will try to spin this one off...

id like to see at least 275hp outa the v6 mustang

 

if the price was around 20k for a v6 and 26 for the v8, id consider it. but i know that wont happen.

 

nop, more like 24-25k for the sixer, and 30-32k for the SS Imao. Now lets see what GM has planned for the Z28 (500hp) ???

 

now im not a camaro expert but why would the z28 have more power than the SS?

I think it's been the Ford guys who have complained about the GT500s weightmore than anything else. I mean it's not likeGM guys have had a direct competitor for the Shelby anyway...

Seriously, the GT500 should have been significantly faster than the SVT cobra..but in reality its slightly faster...ever so slightly.
