Default Intro...

Hey, I'm the new guy around here. I know I'm not supposed to post my intro in this section, but it's basically the only one I visit. So please don't hold it against me. haha.

I've been frequenting MF for quite awhile now, since I bought my camaro. (yes, another non-mustang car owner for you to deal with. haha.) I bought it in October last year, and was on CF basically right away. But I wanted more car talk, so I came here and just lurked, reading. I've settled into the street/strip section, since it's a large group with owners of many types of cars. I especially like how (for the most part) everyone is accepting of other cars, and how everyone here is a CAR enthusiast.

My camaro is a '93 z28, completely stock. I don't goto the track, and I don't really street race, since I actually have the fastest car in my tiny town. Well, not really. That goes to my older brothers fox body. (Important details: built 306, viper spec t56, essentially completely gutted with a cage.Full suspension, geared towards drag. It has a sweet stance, dropping in the back on the drag spring.Went basement 12s with a slipping clutch the one time it was at the track, so we're pretty sure it has the potential to get high 11s.) I do have plans for my car, but nothing insane. Just enough to put a hurtin' on some s197 gts. [8D](Hoping it isn't inpoor taste to make a joke in my very first post. haha)

And I'd like to think the other CFers who come herecan vouch for me. Gotta get some street-cred, amirite?

Any questions, comments, opinions, insults, jokes, etc. are welcome. Maybe not insults.

P.S. Seriously, pleasedon't ban me for putting my intro here. That'd suck. haha.

Welcome to the forum. We are pretty friendly and aren't shy about calling someone on a line of BS. I f you've never modded a car before.. .get ready cause it's a fun expensive ride.

You need to go to the strip ASAP so we can all make fun of your Slowmaro. J/K. There are plenty of Chevy guys here to back you up.

I know, right? I'd be willing to bet on 2.6+ 60s, with mid-high 15s. haha.

lol, welcome to the forums rob. it's gotta be better than the 2.8 Camaro that ran a 21.5 this past weekend.

roasting the tires as far as you can doesn't do good for drag racing

Cacimar:Even though I just now actually joinied, even I was insulted when that one dude (Can't remember his name right now) joined up and his first few posts were about BB not owning a mustang. That's one of those 'wtf' moments. haha.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking things are gonna be good.
