how often do you turn away a race?
I turn them down when I know they will kill my car. Most of the time I'll turn it down if I know i'll kill the other guys car, but if they keep messing with me, I smile, turn off overdrive, and wot it one time.
I love racing, street or not, but it is getting hard with cops and what not. A good one for me to do is going onto a highway by my house. It's a light right before the onramp 2 lanes start going onto the highway. If the race is close by the time the other lane closes, the person losing must stop. I'm not into racing from 0-120. My car barely hit's 100mph in the 1/4.

I pass whenever it's not practical or just plain stupid. Heavy traffic, Residential areas, parking lots. ETC.

I've had great oppertunitys to get some awesome races but it was rush hour or just bad car spacing where a 1 gear pull would be pointless.
As far as a gt picking on a v6, either he was ignorant to the differences or he was a chode.
i almost never try to instigate a race but when i am revved at i will ask them if they want to go to an empty divided road thats about .3- .4 miles long with no intersections that i know of. if they want to race, we race there or not at all.

I pretty much agree with this, thought parking nice racing must be a ricer thing, I dont think theres a parkinglot in the worldbig enough for me to get out of 2nd in.

The only time I turn down a race is if conditions don't permit a race. Racing in traffic or where I can hurt other people on the road is a big no no for me.

Just raced a guy tonight. 350z vert. He had his top down, mine was up. from a roll we were approx even (I possibly pulled a fender, nothin much though), then we talked at a light, when it turned green we "rolled into throttle each". both still managed to squak the tires a sec. I had him by possibly a car at the end of 2nd gear/begining of 3rd.
He was a cool guy. He said he ran flat 14's stock and hasn't been back since his "mods". cool dude. Had a headache so I didn't feel like bs'ing after the race.
