As many of you know, i have a few videos on youtube of me racing my buddies 04 gto... well some guy posted a comment saying he beat a s197 gt with full exhaust,intake,tune,gears, and drag radials by 5 car lengths with his stock ls2 gto. We got to talking and turns out he's pretty close to me. He wants to run me, and i want to run him. I was just wondering to how much power those put out stock? My buddies 04 goat that i raced has 340rwhp/356rwtq and i beat him pretty easy. If we do run, ill make SURE to get it on video[8D]

Nope. Not missing anything, but im going off the fact that i pulled a few lengths on my buddies 04, who is puttin similiar numbers to a stock ls2. I could be wrong. We'll find out!

 

I could swear that last time I said the same thing about the OP beating a stock LS2 GTO and you told me that the numbers his friends bolt on LS1 put down were close to the stock numbers of an LS2 and the outcome would be the same.[&:]
