Why is it so hard for you guys to believe this? The guy couldn't launch, and extra 600 lbs give or take(3 extra passengers avg weight of 200lbs each), and I see it happening. I beat an Evo X with a good driver in my M3 on the street and on a pretty windy road as well.

from a roll he was definetly quicker then I was so it seemed,might have been able to take me actually.

The AWD gives them an advantage from a dig but it also hurts them some from a roll. An Evo's 0-60 is a decent amount faster than it's 5-60.

 

It may have been an Evo X (especially if stock with 3 passengers). I could believe it. They are not as fast as the prior Evos off the line. The X is about 350 lbs heavier than the IX and VIII without any significant power upgrade from the older models. The key to the X is that it has a computerized active Yaw control which makes it pull an amazing 0.98 Gs in the twisties. Mitsubishi seems to be targeting a different audience with the X than with previous models.

I was surprised because I ran an 05 STI last weekend and off the line he put about a car on me,by 60 we were head to head by 80 I was starting to pull and by 100 he let off with me still pulling on him.Raced an 03 wrx and he put about 1 car on me right away but by 65 or so I walked him like he was standing still lol.

Pretty sure an Evo MR would rip me a new one lol.I raced a few with my stage 2 rt-4 and eventhen those suckers were real quick.~

 

Evo X are completely crap. AWD turbo cars have absolutley no top end but they launch like a bat out of hell

But cool win really showed that guy that his "New Evo" can be smoked. i love running into kills like that in my supra. just cant wait till i get the stang running

 

I dont really see how many people he had in the car really matters. Cobras=12 second cars. Evo 10=high 13s.
