Default New times

Corrected times of course. Asked the track officials about elevation and apparantly a lot of websites are extremely inaccurate about coming up with elevations.

13.766@103mph. Not too shabby for a mildy modded 02 GT. This run was without my Mac O/R H-pipe. 2.1 and 2.2 60' alllllll night without dropping tire pressure on my 275/40 Aurora's.

My traction control was giving me fits at the water box. I had it disabled but as soon as I spun the tires my car would bog and I'd grab the brakes wondering WTF just happened. I looked like a real tool, but I'll have to invest money into a tuner so I can turn that crap off, I'm not sure what was going on. I'm sure in my small town within the next week or two I'll hear about how I'm such a horrible driver and can't even burn out!!! LOL

how good of a driver would you consider yourself? i was looking at your mods and you ran a 13.7.
ive got just a bit less than that and i was hoping for right around 13.6-13.8. but after looking at your times, am i dreaming still?

just wondering,

I wouldn't expect to break a 14.0, it's really all about how well you can get down the track.

The DA for the night was about 3170 so I rounded it up to 3200. I would say it's safe to say with variables involved, you could add .1-2 to my ET and take .25 off my MPH. Without having a freakin' radar at the track with you or the track converting your times accordingly to the conditions.....

so ive got a catless H, a catback, and 4.10's,, and ive gained next to nothing time wise?

thats gotta be some b.s.

i know the advertised 14.1 is a very skilled driver, but still, why in the hell wouldnt i be able to break 14.0..

especially after ive had a couple practice runs down so i can continue to learn how to launch?
