My 4th LS1 Race
So about a week ago on my way to the car shop in my rear view mirror i see this Trans Am riding my ***. So i decided to see where it would go and little did you know, he pulled up next to me. At the light i rolled down my window and this 25ish year old guy though he was unstopable and would " OBLITERATE" my car. I was like ok sure you will. I rolled up my window, which has 5% tint, opened my bottle, activated my nitrous switch, and waited.
The light turned green and i just mashed the throttle. The look on his face turned from this will be and easy win to OH ****. I take off spinning all over the place with the nitrous on and finally cought traction in second gear. By then i was 3 to 4 car lenghts ahead and then then my obliteration started. My car shifts into 3rd gear and i just keep pulling. 4th gear i was gone and around 120 and was probably like 10 to 15 cars infront of him. Im not sure exactally the distance but that seems right. Finally a few lights later we pulled over in a gas station. He was speechless. LOL. He was like "man dude i really underestemated ur car. Your car is wicked fast." lol.
Where i live there are plenty of mustangs driven by kids who do not know what they are talking about and give mustang owners a bad name, and he thought i was one of them.
All that talk to be destroyed. He said that he had an intake, LT, X pipe, LS6 Heads, and a tune and he said that he was at 384 RWHP.
Thats made my week.

Nice kill. What are your mods, or at least, your power level? To blow off 1st and still put that many cars on him, you must be making well into the 450's on the gas, unless he just couldn't get traction either.

+1...for any car to put 10-15 lengths on a 384whp LS1, it would have to be insane...i'm thinking like GT40, viper, or lambo territory

Errr... If by low 12's you mean mid 12's then yes maybe.
Thanks for the replies guys! I had, Intake, Pullies, UCA & LCA, MAC LT, MAC H pipe, SLP LM1, 315 tires in the rear, Tune, Shocks, Struts, Camber caster plates, 2 inch Drop, JMOD, BBK 78MM TB, etc..., and a 100 Shot of nitrous! We both were spinning the tires and surprisingly he got traction before me, however with my jump and the nitrous there was no stopping me lol. I do not have anywhere close to 450 RWHP, but i might say 350 to 360 to the wheels when im running nitrous. The fastest 1/4 Mile recorded that i had was 12.1. I think that i run faster now than before but i dont know untill i get it timed. When i put my gears in and my 3200 Stall converter that i have in my room, ill go back to the track!



I mildly stock T/A with 384rwhp might do mid 12s.......but a veeery stock T/A with 384rwhp could go high 11's.
