Default v6 pulls blown 5.0

Long story short. I was cruising home in 4th until a decent 5.0 got on my ***. I was expecting him to blow around me but he pulled aside and hung around. We were going about 60 until he roared off. He got a head start but I jumped into 3rd for a better pull and back to 4th clearly passing him by about 2 cars. As we got to the light he tried again but only to stay right behind me. He blew off after light and Im sure I would have lost from a dead stop but his gf must have really put a drag on the thing. Props to myself. Only got a tri ax and ex.

A new edge manual v6 against a stock auto 5.0 would be a good race. I'm assuming you don't know what blown means lol

Actually a new edge manual v6 should easily get beaten by any 5.0. He has a S197 v6 which would be a ok race for an auto 5.0, but the 5.0 has the edge. Ill second the last part though... WTH are you talking about OP?

04 3.9 Redfire w/ oxford stripes

^^^ = not S197

I think "blown 5.0L" means an actually blown up 5.0L.... he pulled up next to a 5.0L mustang on the side of the road with it's hood open and smoke bellowing out of the engine bay and then he just took off laughing diabolically

henceforth how he beat a blown 5.0L

Maybe the fat chick in the GT had her head buried in the drivers lap. Maybe thats what he means by blown. The driver of the GT was so distracted by being blown he didn't relize he was in a race.

WTF is a 3.9? It isn't a Mustang motor. - My bad 04 used a 3.9, same basic power as the 3.8.
94 - 03 = 3.8L
94 = 3.9L
05 - 08 = 4.0L
The 3.8 does have a well developed modding community, turbo's & blowers are not uncommon. A WELL modded n/a '04 could give a stock Fox a run but op needs to clarify what he is driving.
