Si, LS1 Killer....
I heard they were pretty high $$ on the Accords. They want about $3500 for the SI. Of course, header, stronger clutch, intake, and all the supporting mods are extra.
Yea, just waiting on the brainiacs to get a decent tune out. I kind of wanted to let others experiment before I spend too much on tuning. I've kind of hit a wall until then. Its already majorly inhibited by torque management in 1st and 2nd gear. I'm going to do a motor mount and hopefully a FMIC before too long. There are a few things that really get on my nerves about the car such as torque steer, wheel hop, and hard-to-hit shifts, but they are all problems that can be addressed, I believe.
The more I hear/see you talk about your SI, I believe Im liking them more and more. Good luck with the blower, havent really heard of too many s/c 4bngrs, if anything, it'll be something different on the road.
I'm like 20mins from lynchburg.

Right off of Rocky River at exit 36 on 485. We were just chillin with some friends around the pool for a couple days. I remembered you saying you lived around there back when Ed was in town hanging out with his pops. I'll try to catch you next time we head up there.
The car has a lot to offer. Its not the fastest, but it can definetely get out of its own way. The handling is something else too, no roll at all, and plenty of stopping power. There's a lot more to the car than some people give it credit for as well as plenty of potential. I think the factory torque rating scares a lot of people off, but the net torque is what really matters. High revs and low gears are what gives the car its pull. You should test drive one sometime, just make sure you drive the crap out of it to get a real feel for it.
I hear ya, I've been there too. I sorte figured he was easing into it, he didn't spin at all, just crept right on by, lol.
