Default First track visit

Went to the Test & Tune at Bradenton last night. It was my first time on a drag strip. I didn't do too bad. My reaction times were great all night (pulled of a .011 on one of them), now I just need to work on these 60' times. Best 3 runs below

Best:
RT - .064
60 ft - 2.075
1/4 mile - 13.614 @ 98.93

Second best run:
RT - .101
60 ft - 2.134
1/4 mile - 13.632 @ 99.15

Third best:
RT - .054
60 ft - 2.182
1/4 mile - 13.651 @ 102.29

All in all, a really fun night. I ended up getting in 8 runs, and could have run more. Not bad for $22

nice runs, what mods do you have?

r/t really don't matter unless your bracket racing, no effect on the e/t....but you had some good runs there

Yeah, I know r/t doesnt affect the times, but I was happy with how good I did with them being as this was my first trip to the track. I'm just running the C&L intake with a bama tune and 3.73's. Car is an automatic

nice job, esp for the first time out. I wish I could have made it over there, but I couldn't leave work early enough for the hour and half drive. what mods are you running?

im impressed with your first time out and even more so now being that it's an auto, but that does explain the consistent times

Yeah, I had 8 runs, but my two best times were the 1st and the last. It was just really hot and humid down there last night. Any tips to lower that 60' time? I'm still running on the factory 17" Pirelli's

you should be running 12s with just the intake and tune jk.

Not bad for first time out at all. Maybe grab you some track tires to get those 60s good.

Nice runs. Those times will drop with a little more experience.

Experience is the key. Don't worry though, its a hell of a lot of fun to get experience. With an auto, you just need to figure out how quickly you need to squeeze the gas out of the hole.
