a guy from work has an early 90's Fox(like mine), 'cept his is all black. looks good, and it sounds REALLY good. well, ive said b4 that id like to run him......everybody's like, "you dont want to race him. hell tear you a new one"........yeah, ok, w/e. hes cocky. well, we left work today, and he was probably 5-6 cars in front of me on the main 4-lane non-highway thru va beach(va beach blvd, route 58). so, im kinda hoping we get a red light, just so i can ask him what gear hes in cuz hes got 3.55's. well, we get a red light. i pull up. he looks over at me and just smiles. im like, "no". and we talk. light turns green.....i leave easy(no racing) and he tach's first out a lil bit, nails 2nd and breaks 'em loose. no big deal. next light. he gets the empty lane, so, i get behind him........light turns green. we go thru, he speeds up. im just drivin along right about 52mph(speed limit's 45). so, hes speeding up, light turns red. i pull up beside him. i look at him and say "you need to behave". we laugh. hes like, "how bout it". "im game". light turns green. he gets the lead out of the hole by a fender. no biggie. since i have 3.08's, i can tach out a lil longer than what he can. run out first, nail 2nd, chirp him. i start pulling on him HARD. and get my fender back and put half a car on him. and we stay like that til we both hit 3rd, then, red light. hes gotta get over anyway. well, he gets behind a car, im in the clear lane. so, im sittin at the line at the light. so, it turns green, i go. get 1 lane over to the right. so, now, hes 2 cars behind me. next light he turns right to go home. i rev at him, he waves out the side of his car, and let me tell ya.....he looked PISSED !!!! oh well. he should've won.........hes got long tubes, 3.55's, electric fan and a short-throw shifter. he shoulda walked all over me and left me sittin still.......oh well. ill take the win. i won it fair and square. now, he'll probably be mad at me for a couple days, cuz, hes cocky and think's his cars soooo damned fast. so, another win for me in the record books

Thats great man, Im still looking for a race here around Va beach but then again I wont be her emuch longer. I leave sunday night to go on leave and while im home im putting an o/r h-pipe back on and new mufflers with dumps. I cant wait man should sound pretty good. Where do you work at man?

haha. its all good though. he doesnt hate me. just a lil mad that he lost to a STOCK 5.0(for the most part). but, i was talkin to the guy at work yesterday who bought an '05 GT,and he said when he had his last 'Stang, a 5.0 puttin down 403rwhp, he said he thought he could take him too....yeah.....ok. w/e. i guess hes just a "lil" cocky. but, it was all in fun for me. i figured id lose. i wanna get mods done then run him again. it might be a diff outcome then......who knows.......
