02 GT kill.
Friday Nights is usually packed in town. pretty decent car scene here in rome. mostly honda's but then you have a handful of ws6's, gt's and a few other muscle cars. well im normally the one to sit back and watch other people race but this kid comes over to me and decides to run his mouth. normally i stay out of racing on the street but this kid was pissing me off. he was talking about how the new v6s are junk. at first i mind my own and then he points to my car and laughs. i ask him whats funny and he says the fact that i wasted my money on a v6. i chuckle and get back to my friends.
Next he walks up and says whats so funny, i tell him that he would get a nice surprise out of mine. he asks what is done and i said bolt ons. then he continues to tell me that he has a 351 windsor in his car. i tell him that hes bull****ting and doesnt know **** about his car. i tell him to pop his hood and its the regular PI 4.6. i walk away, he says well at least i dont have a v6. that was the final straw i told him to shut the hell up and line up with me. he wanted to go from a 20 roll. everyone in the lot laughed and he finally gave in to a dig run. well we lined up and my buddy flaged the race. we drove out to an old as country road that everyone runs on, has a marked off 1/4 mile mark and just fields on both sides. 1st gear pulled 1/2 a car on him easy, 2nd another 1 car, 3rd pulled even more. ended up putting about 4 cars on him according to people at the finish line. went back to the parking lot in town and he told me to pop my hood. i popped it and he said " bolt-ons my *** its TURBO'D!" i laughed closed my hood, said dude its a ****ing supercharger and let the drama die there. apparently all he has done is a clutch, tune, exaust, and intake. Now i dont think my car is fast by anymeans, but god did it feel good to put a cocky GT owner in his place with a 6er.
