hm..... Blown GT
was in line at the track and noticed the GT next to me had pillar gauges. os i had to ask if had a power adder! well sure enuff had a 6lb blower, dont know the make though. he siad it was a fully built motor and that he built to put 15 lb procharger on it, but for now he was running a lil blower to get him by. only other known mods were exhaust and D/R.
i tried to scan it but my gf has a virus or something right now, so i have to type it for ya.

that was my best race of the night, very, very close. had him a lil off my rear bumper at the end. other then that, i ran a very very loud GTP. this thing was insane! 12.2@113. the loudest car at the track, sounded like a jet.

vid taken with dig camera, it is not great but the first vid i have taken of me at the track. gf did it and didnt know it had ZOOM!
but it is something to look at
edit* track DA was 2800. so not the greatest conditions. well even with that he would have ben 13.0@104ish

Did it have full bolt on's as well? I've seen several full bolt on/cam'ed/blown/slicks 99+ GT's run here.
All of them went 7.7x-8.1x in the 1/8, which is plenty good for a high 11, bottom 12 pass. It's usually a pretty even run for my car. Usually our DA is only around 1200-1400 though.

no i didnt talk to him after we ran. once i was sure i was gonna run him, is when i asked if he was blown. then the guyed waved us through and we lined up.
i think some guys on our local board know him. i will find out. i am new to this town so i dont know many of the people here.!

Those times are right. A 6lb kit will put about 75 more H.P to the ground. So the car is really stock other than the built motor which adds no power, and he is also auto. Those cars stock run low to mid 14s so low 13s with just the little bit of boost is good. I wish I could pull of 60 fts like that. I trap about the same he does.

this was my first time at this track and it hooked real damn good. i have always chirped 2nd, not this track. my best 60 of the night was 1.925. a new best
i still trying to find out other mods, but what u r saying does sound about right.
