to haven my car ready for track ..doing some up grades lately ..will keep you informed...bigger carb ,rear anti roll bar,nos purge, msd digital 6 ign box,, plus >car on 160lbs diet. hopen to be quicker than last time ...what you think i will run...?

 

got rid of that a/c yet? it be cool if you got into the nines. i think it will be close...

 

yeap a/c ,p/s,p/b, gone..just fired it up today after sitting for 2 months...i got manual rack now..i didnt know the spare was 40lbs with jack,,,took pass seat out that was 38 lbs ..i got nos bottle there now..i got to wire up nos wot switch ,,thats all ..adjust valves hot..set timing ,,i will have to dail in my rear anti roll bar ,,,i hope to be hooking better with it ...dunno.? i didnt drill my rims for screws ... might mess up..

 

should make close to a .5 second increase id think?

 

You gotta be hitting 9s with that setup and slicks. What year and model is it?? I was thinking of buidling a 408 in a year or two, and was thinking with AFR225s and a nice cam (not to mention a fully built shortblock) to be running 9s easy.

i got dot hooosiers...83gt that i brought brand new in sept 83.. its a 408 the eagle kit 4340 all,,i got victor jrs heads 700 lift cam 1.7 rockers,,rocker stud girrdle,,12.5to1 compression,super victor intake ,,1000 demon carb ,,tko trans 3.73s ,,dart block soon in the works..o i forgot ....am adding another 50 shot to it ...for total of 200 h/p.can go up to 250 shot with the cheater kit....
