Some people like to have fun in their Cobra R's. My cousin and I pulled up next to one while we were in Naperville a couple weeks ago. The guy was pretty cool and revved it a couple times, dropped and gear and nailed it. I don't think he was even in the right gear, and the car just shot off. I don't think it was stock though. The only gay thing about it was that I saw a monster tach on the dash.

but to me the definition of a race is something that you actually have a chance of loosing, why would the guy even waste the gas? I won't wast my gas on someone unless they are running a good ammount of power, otherwise it's pointless.

 

i don't buy a cobra R is only good for 13 flat, more like 12.5 same power as 03-04 N/A lighter, better suspension...if it is a cobra R your toast, If it's a regular cobra and he can drive im assuming your toast, but either way race the bitch

I still say someone with a cobra R isn't going to race someone with a couple bolton's only.

 

If I were to race anything with that car, I hope he takes it to the track. If he has the money to buy one of those, he has enough to pay to race safely.

ummm, if he has an 03 gt with full bolt-on's, full suspension, a tune, and 315's out back (assuming he has the right tires), he should hit a low 13, possibly even a high 12. 72mach1 just ran a 13.6 in his new edge with minimal mods, and no suspension mods. I'm not saying the op could do it (Driver mod?), but it may be a fair shot if the cobra r run's a high 12/low 13, that agin is IF the cobra is running a high 12/low 13.
