One of my friends has a 1987 or 1988 V8 camaro(all stock) and i know that sooner or later i'm gonna race him,so here is the question:would i beat him on my stock '95 V6 stang??

 

im not sure if there is enough information here to get an accurate time for the camaro (were there still some 350's in 88?)

but i know for a fact that a 95 v6 is a dog, and you are most likely not going to win.

If he has the 305 those things are sloooow but still a v6 mustang is not really quick either.

 

i had a stock 86 Z28 5spd 305 4brl and ran a 15.7. if he has a 350 i could see better times with that specially if he has the tuned port injection.

 

those 80's fbodies arent that fast at all...i beat my friends 85 firebird trans am with my v6....but then again u have one of the slowest mustangs ever, so itd be tough to decide...if ur stock, ull prolly lose.

 

Why don't you two just buy some plants and see who can grow them faster, I think that'll be a more interesting race.

if its an iroc z then its has the 305 which have like 215 hp. If its an SS then it has the 5.7 lt 350. Either way hell probobly win.

 

Yes, that V6 is only rated at 145 H.P. Those cars run 16s or 17s. The autos run mid 17s.
