OP, just noticed you live very close to me.What 1/4 track do you go to?

The only 1/4 track i've been too is in rockingham, nc. Its about 2hrs from here. Most the time we go to either roxboro dragstrip or piedmont dragstrip--altho both are only 1/8th mile tracks. supposedly piedmont is getting redone this year into a 1/4 mile track..

yea, I just posted because it happened on the way home. Still gets the addreneline pumping, because sometimes you just never know.

 

Just a question...aren't the new cobalt ss' turbo'd now instead of sc?

 

Yes, and faster due to better factory F/I.
Fastest SC stock time is 14.06@99.34
Fastest TC stock time is 13.66@104.25
Both can be in the 12's with some mods just the SS/TC takes less.Aftermarket F/I and they will be pretty close to the same.

 

Dang, I live 5 minutes from piedmont, I can hear it from my house.

Thats the first I heard about them turning in a 1/4 mile track, thats awesome.

 

yea, i emailed the track a while back about it, and apparently its true. I just couldnt remember if it was the end of this season, or the end of next year
