Coming home today in the old pickup I saw what I thought was a grand prix. Looked closer and it was pontiac G8. Looked real nice and real fast. Light turn's green and he really laid into it. Sounded real nice. Are those cars preety fast? Has anyone run one yet?

 

They're not slow Soldier. High 13 second cars stock. Tunes and a couple bolt-ons get them low 13s. Keep an eye out for the G8 GXP, its not out yet, but its coming. Its supposed to have over 400hp.

 

+1 on the GXP it should be a low 13 car for sure

 

I thought the LS2 G8's already were low to mid 13 second cars?

Isnt there a intake/tune car going 13.2 or something on some video?

Looking at numbers, they are sure damn good cars. But who knows until you run into one.

 

They aren't LS2s, they're L76s (Truck motor) rated @ 362HP.

M5, 500 hp, that's not insane, that's incredible. Thats expected from a 70 to 100 thousand dollar car.

Just imagine; You have a family two kids and a wife. You're not ready for the mini van or the gas guzzling SUV. There it is. A car that has four doors American made and running low 13's and looks bad a##. What could be better!!!

 

The G8 is not powered b a LS2 but a LT6 i think, they are mid 13s cars if driven properly. Now a GXP should be good for 12s
