FWD question?
I know that FWD vehicles have horrible 60fts, my guess is from weight transfer. So would lowering a car help 60fts of FWD vehicles because I know that lowering rwd cars hurts their 60fts due to less weight transfer on launch. This is something I am curious about and wanted an answer on. None of my friends could answer me since we are all into rwd cars.
Yes, lowering the car will help some, because typicly the springs are stiffer, but there are other variables involved. Obvioulsy the main objective is to stop wieght transfer from front to rear, and stiffer springs help out.
Stiffer springs will help the weight from transfering and also a simple thing like raising the rear tire pressure will help a front driver sixty better. Once a front drive car has sticky tires on it. It'll sixty on par with your average RWD car.

Yeah...
Tell BB that 60 fts suck in FWD cars...
I think he's puttin down some pretty nice numbers...
lol
;-P
Torque steer is a b*tch though...
:-/
And how does lowerin a RWD car hurt it's launch?
I was under the impression that it helped?

less weight transfer to the rear, therefore less grip on the rear tires
Good to go...
Worst torque steer I've ever had was in a Kia minivan...
It's the crew car at the airport I work at...
It's quick...
For a minivan...
lol
Gotcha...
Makes sense...
Thanks for the clarification...
