lmao headin down a 45 mph zone black ls1 comin up from behind me. i slow to 20 and wait for him. he gives me a nod and gives it a lil gas, so floor it and spin. he leaves me bad. then he ask if i want to head to the highway, so i tell him 40 roll on 3 honks. he jumps the gun on first honk, all good i run him down. get next to him adn tell him to slow down.
.... on 3 HONKS OK. he says he didnt know what i meant. so 40 roll, let him get a slight jump on the 3rd honk, and put about a car by 65 on him. then he slowed my pull at around 90 though i started pullin away again. by 110 i had about 2 cars on him. we went a few times at diff speeds, each time i pulled him.
met up afterwards and talked for a few. he had a few excuses but admitted the loss.
98 z28 k&n and magnaflow catback were his only mods.

 

sounds like you have a strong runnin elty-juan,good kill since most stalled cars run a little slower after the converter from a roll

 

Good kill. I have seen more than a few mildly modded LT1's that would kill my almost stock LS1.

i have heard that from quite a few people. my stall isnt the greatest either 2.2 str. i figured if anything he wouldve started catchin me after 90, not me pullin away. '
.....when we were talking afterwards he told me he was ordering L/T's and spray in the next 2 weeks. and he wants to run me on motor afterwards. so i am pretty sure he will pull after header install.
....im ordering spray on monday, so we'll probably run motor to motor, then spray em afterwards. ill keep u guys updated

Now there is an LT1 for ya to drool over.. low 9's.. Cool guy too, really fun to hang with.

 

That should be a very even race as far as cars, seeing LS1's usually trap 104-106 stock..... At least i did....
